The Research Journal is a new feature which allows the user to view statistics and data trends about the animals and the world, updated in real-time. For example, the success of the animals (in terms of survival and reproduction) can be examined using  the "Birth Rate (%)" graph. A higher number means more animals have been born autonomously, by their robotic parents, rather than generated by the evolutionary search algorithm.

Other graphs that are currently available include the amount of  Food Eaten by the best animals, the amount of times reproduced, and the "Fitness Score" used by the evolution search algorithm.
